Acupressure is an ancient form of energetic body work based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. It is a non-invasive modality; no needles are used. Gentle pressure is applied to specific points along the energetic pathways of the body in order to restore the balance and flow of energy. It can be used on animals to foster general well being, to treat a variety of acute and chronic emotional and physical conditions and to improve competition performance. It is combined with Tui Na energetic meridian work to enhance efficacy.
Acupressure aligns the Chakras, removes energetic blockages, encourages the flow of blood and energy to vital organs and promotes emotional and physical wellbeing. It is used with effectiveness in animals to assist in the treatment of a variety of acute and chronic physical and emotional conditions, such as injuries, organ dysfunction, age-related problems and fear and reactivity. When combined with Tui Na meridian work, it is also a wonderful modality for improving overall wellbeing and competition performance.
